13 of 20 Vetoes Overridden

The 2016 Veto Session in the State Legislature continued and doubled-down on the wish of the super-majority Party to make Governor Nixon the most veto-overridden governor in Missouri history. Several overrides were valiantly contested even though the outcome was a foregone conclusion and use of the “PQ” to force an end to the debate has become commonplace and expected.
