It’s Opening Day of the 2018 MO Legislative Session!

And House Democrats are ready to act on their 10-bill ethics package, prefiled yesterday prior to a Capitol news conference laying out the bills.

“Last year, House Democrats filed a package of ethics bills that basically mirrored Gov. Greitens’ campaign promises.”

“While the governor’s rhetoric sounded good, he failed to follow through on many of his promises. Instead, it seems that he’s engaged in a pattern and practice that are meant to hide the true workings of his administration and campaign from the public.”

“Our mission as elected officials should always be to restore people’s trust in government.”

– Rep. Kip Kendrick, D-Columbia
