Last night, Rep. Martha Stevens and I hosted a town hall regarding the implementation of the new voter photo ID law that went into effect on June 1. I’m so grateful for long-time Boone County Clerk, Wendy Noren‘s thorough overview of the new law and, mostly, for her 35 years of public service. Free and fair elections are the cornerstone of democracy. Wendy’s commitment to ensuring integrity in the voting process and accessibility to the polls has been an example for not just the state, but for the entire country. We all owe her a debt of gratitude. Thank you, Wendy. We’re forever grateful.
