Read this week’s update from MU’s Flagship Council, including:

MU establishes Institute for Korean Studies

“From North Korea to American Citizen, ” a talk by Grace Jo, an activist and North Korean refugee, followed by a screening of the documentary film about her “I am Grace,” served as the launch of the MU Institute for Korean Studies on Thursday evening.

The co-directors of the new institute are C. Harrison Kim, assistant professor of history and Sheena Greitens, assistant professor of political science and wife of Missouri Governor Eric Greitens.
